HOW DO I APPLY?

We are not currently accepting applications for the Diploma to Degree program. If one of the following applies to you, please contact us ASAP to see what's still possible:

- You want to take a qualifying course in the Summer 2024 session 

- You want to take a qualifying course in the Summer 2024 session and then begin degree studies in the Fall/Winter 2024-25 session

- You have already completed their qualifying course and want to begin their degree studies in the Fall/Winter 2024-25 session

If you are wanting to take a qualifying course in the Fall/Winter 2024-25 session, online applications will open on May 13 and we encourage you to apply before June 21 to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner. Applications will not be accepted after August 1.

Email us to let us know you’re interested in the program. We can help suggest what programs of study you could pursue based on your areas of interest. Prepare your application

  • Draft your statement of intent* since you’ll need to include this in your online application.
  • You’ll also be asked to list three programs that you’re interested in pursuing at U of T, and three courses that you’re interested in taking. Learn more about programs of study on our FAQ page

*What is a statement of intent?

This is a brief written statement in which you’ll be asked to describe your interest in the program, your short-term and long-term academic goals and your financial plan. The purpose of your statement of intent is to provide us with some information that we can use to best advise you on your options and to help connect you to services at U of T.

When should I apply to take my qualifying course?

Are you currently in your first or second semester of college?

It’s best to take your qualifying course after completing your second semester of college.

Are you already in your third or fourth semester of college?

Don’t worry - it’s not too late to take your qualifying course. You’ll just need to complete it during the May/ June term of U of T’s summer session.
