Transfer Students

If you have completed courses at another accredited university, Canadian college, CEGEP or University of Toronto division, you may be able to apply to the Faculty of Arts & Science as a transfer student. 

What type of transfer applicant are you?

UTM, UTSC or the Daniels Faculty

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science from UTM, UTSC or the Daniels Faculty, you do not have to apply or pay for a retained credit assessment. Please refer to the Internal Transfer webpage for more information.

Other undergraduate divisions at U of T

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science from an undergraduate division at U of T other than UTM, UTSC or the Daniels Faculty, you will need to apply for transfer credit. Please refer to the Internal Transfer webpage for more information.

CEGEP

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science from the CEGEP system, you will need to apply for transfer credit. Please refer to the CEGEP Transfer Credit webpage for more information.

Canadian College

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science from an accredited college in Canada, you will need to apply for transfer credit. Please refer to the Canadian Colleges Transfer Credit webpage for more information.

Canadian or International University

If you are admitted to the Faculty of Arts & Science and have previously completed courses at an accredited Canadian or International University, you will need to apply for transfer credit. Please refer to the Canadian and International Universities Transfer Credit webpage for more information.
