As the Dean of Students, Liza oversees all student life activities in the College, including the residence program. She works with students, staff, and faculty members at the College and across the university to ensure the student experience at Woodsworth is vibrant and inclusive.
As the ADRL, Savannah provides leadership and direction to the residence life program. She employs a holistic approach toward the creation of a safe, diverse, and vibrant residence community that is conducive to both academic success and personal development. In addition to supervising the Residence Dons and Academic Links, she also works in concert with the Woodsworth Residence Council to strengthen the residence community.
As the ADRA, Mauricio is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the residence office and front desk. He oversees residence admissions and student financial accounts, supervises the front desk porter team, manages the residence’s IT, and coordinates our summer business operation.
As the Residence Facilities Coordinator, Sandro is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the residence’s facilities. He supervises the Maintenance Technician and cleaning staff, and liaises with external contractors and engineers, to ensure the building is in good repair.
As the Residence Operations Coordinator, Kristen is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the residence office. She coordinates all residence communications, assists with admissions, and supervises the residence front desk.
As the Student Life Programs Coordinator, Janice oversees all programming portfolios for the Office of the Dean of Students, including orientation, mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach. She also works directly with the Woodsworth College Students’ Association in supporting their efforts. Additionally, she oversees various administrative and co-curricular elements of the first-year foundational program, Woodsworth One.
Residence Life Dons are responsible for building community, managing conflict, and developing programming for their students to live in a rich, safe, and welcoming home during the Fall/Winter term. Dons are a resident's access point for any questions and concerns. They monitor the building and work closely with the Assistant Dean, Residence Life, to strengthen the aspect of community amongst their students.
Front Desk Porter's are responsible for the daily operations of Woodsworth College Residence. From interacting with residents, receiving packages, and signing in contractors, to managing emergencies and being the hub for information in the building, Front Desk Porters have a large responsibility in interacting with the building's needs on a daily basis.
