The Price is Right – A Financial Wellness Workshop

Effective Communication Skills Workshop

Are you eager to enhance your communication skills in your personal and professional life? Join our workshop on effective communication, where through interactive discussions and practical exercises, we'll identify common barriers to communication and provide strategies to overcome them. Escape With Us

Ever wanted to try an escape room? The Woodsworth Equity Team is providing five tickets to Captive Escape Rooms to participate in a group escape room experience on a team led by the Woodsworth Equity Assistant. No experience required! We will meet at Waters Lounge on March 14 at 7 pm and commute together using the TTC to Captive Escape Rooms, finishing the room at 9 pm. If you’re interested, sign up with the form in our bio. First come, first serve - only 5 spots available for this excursion! If a spot becomes available before 5pm on March 14th, we will recruit a new team member via this account - keep your eyes on this space.

Please make sure to sign up only if you’re 100% certain you can and will attend on March 14, 7-9 pm. The form will close after the first five sign-ups due to limited availability, so make sure to fill out the form if you’re interested! If you are selected to join this team, you will receive an email follow up on Monday, March 12th with further information.

Paws Your Stress

🐶 Paws Your Stress 🐾 returns for the final time this semester! Take a break from studying to hang out with therapy dogs and learn more about animal-assisted therapy.

Registration is required – this event is typically very popular so please sign up early to avoid disappointment. Light refreshments provided. Participation in this event will count towards the new Self Care Skills Certificate CCR.

Tumaini Girls Secondary School at the Kakuma Refugee Camp Fundraiser

The Access & Transition work study team is reaching out to ask for your support for a cause close to our hearts. The girls at Lifeworks Tumaini High School in the Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, are studying in challenging conditions, with scarce access to basic learning materials in a semi-arid region. Join us as we fundraise to help provide these eager students with the stationery and books they need to thrive!

Learn more about the school from former students and enjoy a "Puff Puff" fried treat to help provide books and supplies for the school. Pay-what-you-can donations are greatly appreciated. 

Let’s band together to make a real difference for these students. Every little bit helps, and your involvement means the world to us and to them. We hope to see you there! 

Massive Mindful Monday

Hey Woodsworth! 🐺 Are you ready for the FINAL Mindful Monday this semester? Get ready to relax, recharge, and engage in some fun wellness activities at MASSIVE Mindful Monday!

We’ll have a variety of mindful activities to help you feel grounded and connect with yourself and others during this busy season. Come for guided body scans, weekly and monthly planning pages, and a Memory Match game with wellness tips. Make time for self care and win fun prizes! This event will count towards the Woodsworth Self Care Skills CCR requirement.

Breath & Brush

Breath & Brush is back! 🎨 Join our painting workshop for a relaxing and creative experience. Practice breathing techniques and learn about their effects on regulating your nervous system, while experimenting with watercolours and acrylics. 🌌

We’ll cover everything from basic painting methods and colour mixing theory, to various breathing exercises to help you relax and enhance your creativity. Choose a rock to paint, one of our watercolour prints, or create your own masterpiece! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and explore their artistic side.

Spring into Self-Care

Join us for Spring into Self-Care on Friday, March 28th, from 2 PM to 4 PM at Waters Lounge! Unwind, recharge, and dive into activities to tackle stress and embrace wellness. Discover practical tips, connect with others, and leave feeling inspired to nurture your mind and body.
