Alumni Reunion 2023: Annual General Meeting & Social

The Woodsworth College Alumni Association (WCAA) Annual General Meeting & Social took place as part of UofT Alumni Reunion on Wednesday, May 31^st. It was a lovely evening, beginning with updates from WCAA President, Sofiya Datsyuk, as well as from Principal Carol Chin.

Following, a new Board of Directors (BofD) was elected. Please see the list of members here. The board is looking forward to their Fall activities, such as the Alumni Café Series and other social and professional development events. During the Awards Celebration, students Jessica Johnson (BA 2023) and Raza Akbari (BComm 2022) received the Woodsworth College Alumni Association Appreciation Award for their great commitment to the College.

The meeting concluded with a 25^th Anniversary Ceremony recognizing our alumni who graduated in 1998. Those in attendance received a commemorative pin. 

During the Reception that followed, everyone enjoyed socializing, light refreshments, and listening to a jazz trio from the UofT Faculty of Music.
