Woodsworth grad embarks on a career in fiction & comics

"That’s what I’m the most proud of: that I stuck it out. I’m the first in my family to go to university, and I proved to myself that I could do it. In the end, I absolutely was cut out for university."

Woodsworth College honoured its Fall 2022 graduands at a convocation ceremony that took place at Convocation Hall on November 7, 2022

One of the Woodsworth graduates being celebrated was Bethany Mally who began her U of T journey in the Academic Bridging Program and is now embarking on a career in fiction and comics.

Bethany graduated with a major in Anthropology (Society, Culture and Language) and a double minor in English and Indigenous Studies. She is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at the University of British Columbia.
