An Update from Carol Chin
A message for Woodsworth Alumni for the beginning of the 2021 academic year
Back to school! This year the phrase takes on new meaning, as students, faculty, and staff are physically returning to campus after such a long time away. It’s not quite back to normal – for instance, running a class discussion can be challenging when everyone is masked. But it’s great to see the campus come to life again and to feel the energy and excitement of students getting ready to learn . . . and simply being able to talk to each other.
Meanwhile, work is about to begin on the new building project. We’ll be living in a construction zone for a couple of years, but the end result will be worth it. There will be plenty of space for students to study and socialize, a beautiful new event venue, and other features that will enhance the student experience and benefit the whole Woodsworth community. Stay tuned for updates on these and other exciting developments.
