Voke Ewhrudjakpor UofT Giving Day March 25

Since U of T Giving Day began in 2023, U of T has been able to support new scholarships and change the lives of students thanks to the generosity of donors like you.

This year’s campaign, "Progress takes a community" is about the incredible impact you can make when we all come together.

Voke Ewhrudjakpor is Woodsworth College's U of T Giving Day ambassador! As a scholarship recipient and student leader, Voke has witnessed — and experienced — how every contribution opens doors and empowers students like her to reach for their dreams.

This year, our featured Giving Day fund is the Woodsworth College Expansion and Renovation fund. The New Academic Building project is underway, and, when completed, there will be many inviting spaces for studying and socializing that will tie our Woodsworth community closer together and enhance the experience for students and other members of the Woodsworth community.

From now until midnight EDT on March 25, 2025, every dollar you donate to Woodsworth’s featured fund, up to $1,000, will be matched by both U of T and Woodsworth, while matching funds last.

Donate now!

Third-generation Woodsworth College grad Luca Giavedoni follows in the path of his mother and grandmother

October 27, 2025

Third-generation Woodsworth College student Luca Giavedoni’s undergraduate degree was about more than just academics.

Throughout his time at U of T, Giavedoni acted as a community leader and advocate for physical and mental wellbeing at Woodsworth and the Department of Cell & Systems Biology (CSB), where he majored.

He will graduate this week — following in the footsteps of his mother and grandmother before him — with an honours bachelor of science degree and plans to apply for medical school.
