Join the Woodsworth College Alumni Association for their Annual General Meeting & 50th Anniversary Celebration. WCAA will deliver the results of their Alumni Survey and elect the new slate of officers for the 2024 – 2025 term. After the AGM, we will hear from guest speakers who will reflect on their experiences at Woodsworth College, followed by a social with music, mingling and refreshments in the residence courtyard. Capacity is limited. Please register early to save your spot.

Medieval Robots in the Age of AI

Join Professor Alexandra Bolintineanu of Woodsworth College and the Centre for Medieval Studies, and winner of the Medieval Academy of America’s CARA Teaching Prize and U of T’s Early Career Teaching Award, as she speaks on sophisticated machines powered by water, wind and time, designed to entertain, guard, intimidate and even prank. Explore these fascinating models that mix art and technology and understand their connection to artificial intelligence today.

The Alumni Reunion big outdoor festival returns to Front Campus! Come join us for a day of great BBQ, old friends, music and entertainment for all ages at the U of T St. George campus. Visit the Woodsworth College tent during Alumni Fest. Chat with the Board of Directors, play some games and find out current events at the college!
An optional $5 per person BBQ lunch will be offered along with FREE ice cream!

Engaging guest lecturer and author, Ai Jiang, visits DHU course on AI, Literature and Culture
Digital Humanities students in course DHU 436 - Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities: AI, Literature and Culture were recently visited by guest lecturer and author, Ai Jiang. Jiang is an award-winning author based in Toronto and a UofT grad. Jiang’s novelette, I am Ai, was one of the readings of the course this semester.
