Digital History Book celebrates 50 years of Woodsworth history
In celebration of Woodsworth College's 50th Anniversary, the college has put together a collaborative spatial digital history of the college. This exhibition, spearheaded by Woodsworth College Professor Alexandra Bolintineanu, recalls the founding of the college and shares the history and growth of the Woodsworth College campus and programs.
The digital history features archival photographs, as well as recent interviews from faculty and staff from over the years, with more interviews to be posted in the future. Interviewees include Dr. Alex Waugh, Professor J. Barbara Rose, Professor Beth Fischer, and Ms. Barbara Track. Professor Thomas Socknat has contributed a history of the Academic Bridging Program.
It is a living exhibition that highlights the history and people that have contributed to the Woodsworth College community as we know it today.
The Digital History Book can be found online here: Click here to visit the Woodsworth College: A Spatial Digital History. Visit the exhibition to learn something new about the history of the college.
As Woodsworth College begins its next 50 years we will continue to add to this history.
