It’s hard to imagine that I spent almost 32 years at Woodsworth College. From the day I first stepped into Woodsworth College in September 1986 to start the Pre-University Program (Academic Bridging) until December 2018 when I retired as an Associate Professor Emerita, Teaching Stream, the journey has been one of scholarship, potential, and possibility in the pursuit of learning.

What comes to mind are all the students I’ve met along the way and all the joy (and occasional heartbreak!) they brought. However, I couldn’t have been in this situation if it hadn’t been for the principals, colleagues, and the administrative staff over these years who supported and guided me every step of the journey.

Woodsworth not only opened the doors for me to an enhanced and rewarding life, it also made it possible for me to pass on knowledge and skills to many wonderful students who have themselves journeyed to remarkable heights in their own lives and careers. I learned so much from the various cohorts I taught over the years.

The tightknit Woodsworth community has made it possible for me to stay in touch with so many friends and former students. My thanks to you all for this amazing journey.
