Biography: Nicholas Ypelaar is a passionate field naturalist with a keen interest in the natural history and morphology of Canadian herptiles, bird migration patterns, and science communication. Over 10 years of experience in field and lab work, applied species at risk conservation, invasive species management, heritage interpretation, science communication, and public outreach. Past and ongoing employment with federal and provincial agencies, regional conservation authorities, and NGOs. Driven, energetic, and personable. I am committed to conserving the natural world around us and creating learning opportunities for diverse audiences.
Hobbies: I am a wildlife photographer in my spare time.
