Current role: Manager, People Operations & Strategy
Employer: Mozilla
Industries: Human Resources, Information Technology & Services
Biography: I'm an experienced HR leader with over 12 years in people operations, organizational development, and employee experience. Currently, I’m the Manager of People Operations & Strategy at MZLA Technologies Corporation—the home of Thunderbird, a free and open-source email client, as well as other independent productivity tools. We’re a mission-driven team within the Mozilla family, committed to building user-first products that operate outside the influence of big tech.
Since joining MZLA, I’ve helped guide the organization through a period of significant growth and scaling. I lead people strategy with a focus on culture, inclusion, and feedback. My approach blends strategic thinking with emotional intelligence, aiming to create high-trust environments where people can do their best work—no matter where they are in the world.
I hold a CHRL designation, a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, and a BA in Political Science and History from U of T (Class of 2013).
Hobbies: Outside of work, I’m passionate about running, hiking with my family, interior design, and general wellness. I believe great environments—whether physical or cultural—are intentionally built to support creativity, well-being, and meaningful connection.
I’m a huge travel enthusiast and believe new experiences are the best way to learn. For me, experiences will always outweigh “things.”
Much of what I’ve learned that’s been truly transferable has come from the hospitality industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are what set people apart—from both others and from AI.
I recently got into running! Right now, I’m working on mastering a 5K in under 30 minutes and building my endurance and stamina toward running a solid 10K.
