Biography: As a Senior Performance Improvement Officer for Ontario Power Generation (OPG), Lisa Robles is responsible for ensuring Human Performance principles are understood and adopted by OPG's Nuclear fleet of employees to support safe, reliable, day-to-day operations of energy production for the province of Ontario. Lisa has worked at OPG for 18 years in the areas of Security and Emergency Services, Enterprise Learning, IT Projects, and currently, Enterprise Operations - Human Performance, which has spanned the Nuclear, Renewable Generation, and Corporate divisions. Lisa is an expert at career pivoting. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Lisa is a first-generation Canadian born to Ecuadorian parents. Lisa's parents spoke Spanish to her and her siblings at home and, while at school, Lisa spoke English and learned French and Italian (it was an Italian dominated neighbourhood). Lisa adopts a growth mindset, is passionate about learning & development, and is always learning for personal, continuous improvement. She obtained her Adult Education diploma from St. Frances Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada and spent over 10 years as an Instructional Designer at OPG. In her spare time, you can find Lisa travelling and trekking mountains around the world with her son (one continent left to go) and volunteering for several initiatives, such as mentoring new comers and young people, getting involved with OPG Employee Resource Groups, and has led the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations at work which helps unite Latin American employees.

Hobbies: World traveller. Enjoy adventure travel, trekking mountains, and have one continent left to go.
