Biography: Ali holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where he double majored in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law with a minor in Sociology. During his undergraduate studies, he served as the inaugural Equity Director of the Woodsworth College Students’ Association, where he championed inclusive policies and represented student interests.
After completing his bachelor’s degree he obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, Ali worked at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) as an Immigration Division Leader. In this role, he advised clients throughout various stages of the immigration process and appeared before the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Ali was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and now maintains a broad civil litigation practice. He regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice across Ontario.
