Don't know where to start on your career path? Woodsworth's Career Certificate program offers a variety of workshops to help you achieve your goals.

Getting the job or getting into a grad program takes more than just good grades.

Learn the skills you need in a series of career-focused workshops and networking events focused on hands-on skills critical to your future success.

Who is this program for?

  • Woodsworth College, Trinity College and Innis College students interested in gaining additional career and employment development skills;

  • Students who are interested in applying for a part-time job, full-time job, internship or graduate program.

Learn strategies for finding the perfect job opportunities for you and discover your career options and resources available here at the University of Toronto.

Stand Out from the Crowd: Resume & Cover Letter Guide

Understand how to structure your resume/cover letter and reference letters for employment. Note: you'll be required to bring a working version of your resume to this session.

Market Yourself Online: LinkedIn 101

Discover networking strategies and techniques for social media (such as LinkedIn) and learn how to develop your "personal brand.” Note: you will be required to create a LinkedIn profile during the workshop. After the session, a photographer will be on-hand to take professional headshots.

Interview Pro-Tips: Getting Rid interview jitters Once and for all

Learn how to be yourself in an interview, while feeling confident telling your "stories of ability" to employers.

Detail Matters: 15 workplace mistakes you can’t afford to make
