The mission of the Front-line Advising Team in the Woodsworth College Registrar’s Office is to provide accurate, timely and thorough information about regulations, policies and procedures to the communities we serve in a helpful and welcoming manner. We facilitate informed decision-making by providing supportive and knowledgeable service and by empowering individuals to achieve their goals. Our team is sensitive to the needs of all and strives to treat everyone with respect and understanding.
The Registrar’s Office at Woodsworth College is your reliable first stop for information and advice on academic, financial and personal issues related to your academic studies. The advisors in the Registrar’s Office offer front-line, drop-in and one-on-one academic advising to help you plan your education and career goals and navigate the University.
Students are expected to manage their studies and this includes asking for help and advice regarding course and program selection, Arts and Science policies and regulations, financial issues plus short-term and long-term educational goals.
We offer drop-in advising every Tuesday from 10 am to noon and again from 2 pm to 4 pm.
For more in-depth advising, make an appointment. We are always happy to meet with you.
The Registrar’s Office also manages and distributes financial awards including OSAP, bursaries and scholarships. We can also help you with financial planning and budgeting and give you advice on internal and external awards. Check out the Financial Matters section of this website for more information.
