Woodsworth student Drew Rickard is part of a group of Indigenous students from the University of Toronto and young adults from across the GTA  are being trained to lead virtual tours that celebrate the rich Indigenous history of U of T’s three campuses and surrounding areas.

While the history of Woodsworth College is only 40 years old, its founding represents the important telling of how part-time students found their place at the University of Toronto and how eventually, Woodsworth became a college for all students. Alumni mentors make a difference - help a student discover career possibilities!

Woodsworth College was pleased to see almost 800 of its students graduate this past June.  Although it was certainly a different convocating experience this year, with events moving online, there was, nonetheless, much to celebrate.

Woodsworth College, in partnership with imagineNATIVE Film +Media, kicked off an online summer Indigenous Film Series -- an exciting step along Woodsworth’s path toward honouring its responsibility to build relationships with Indigenous community members and partners.

Here at Woodsworth, our challenge is to implement this approach successfully while at the same time preserving the distinctive character of our programs, especially Woodsworth One, our First Year Foundations seminars, and Academic Bridging, with their special emphasis on participation and community building. 

Andrew Gallant, WCSA president,  oversees and collaborates with the Orientation team to provide a memorable and inclusive experience to all incoming students.
