Cressy Awards

Nominations are now being accepted

The Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Awards were established in 1994 by the University of Toronto Alumni Association  (UTAA) and the Division of University Advancement in order to recognize students who have made outstanding extra-curricular contributions to their college, faculty or school, or to the university as a whole.

If you meet the following criteria, please consider applying for a Cressy Award: 

  • You are graduating in 2018
  • You have been engaged with extra-curricular activities throughout your university career
  • You have a CGPA of at least 2.7 (no exceptions)
  • More info on eligibility criteria

To Apply:

  • You have to complete the Nomination Form  
  • You have to have a nominator and an endorsement from your nominator (Section B of Nomination Form).  If you do not have a nominator, please contact Stephanie Woodside, Alumni Development Officer
  • You have to submit the completed application form to Stephanie Woodside, Room 202 (Principal's Office Area), Woodsworth College, 119 St. George Street, no later than Tuesday, November 28th

The award has no monetary value and there are ten possible awards available for Woodsworth students

A committee comprised of Woodsworth College staff will review the completed applications and determine the recipients. 

The awards ceremony is in March.
